this is my setup standard network cable plugged directley in to the xbox and the other end directley into my pc's network card (REALTEK RTL8139/810X family PCI fast ethernet NIC). I am running with flashfxp v2.0 build 907 and evox 1.8.458. windows xp pro sp1 no router or hub is used and it does work. i found that with this early version of evox i don't need a router or hub but with newer versions i do need a hub etc. windows auto reconises the connection and allows the link, i don't know why it works but it does
