Im stumped: BBC CDs

Trying to "backup" bob the builder and wallace & grommit software both CDs published by the BBC.

I have tried Nero and cdclone4.

I have tried using both the panasonic/Matsh!ta DVD RAM LF-D210 and the Sony CDRW CRX140E as reader using image.

also tried clonexl which doesnt spot any protection

Copies appear the same can be read, but exectutable wont work

Im new and dont know what else i can try.

The wallace & gromit over 4 years old now, they cant have a full proof copy protection can they?
