Help soldering Bios

I just recieved a messiah 2 pro. I am very inexperienced in soldering, but I already bought all of the stuff to do the job and I think I can do it with a little help from u guys! I have tried to find answers in the forum and did not find any answers.

A few questions:

Tinning? what is the exact procedure.

@Charlie, I got my 15 watt iron, and I already had a 30 watt iron that I can use to strip the wires, but I could not find a .10mm iron tip at RadioShack. Where can I get this and the flux spray, does flux spray have another name, because RadioShack doesn't carry anything called flux spray or liquid flux.

What is the exact sloldering procedure? Tin the wire and then when the wire is in place do I apply heat to the wire only, or to the wire and contact point? I know you guys must think I am crazy for attempting to do this, but I bought almost all of the equipment and I am never going to learn if I don't try.

Soldering the Bios, In the installation manual it says that there is very little solder on the bios pins so be careful, does that mean that I am not going to put solder onto these points, but rather use what is already on the board?

I read in another post about soldering to the underside of the bios chip. Has anyone tried this, can it be done, would it be easier?

I'm not going to take the iron to the ps2 until I can get all of the tools, but if I decide not to do this myself, where can I find installers (Indiana) And what is the typical cost of installation?

Thanks for puttin up with all of my questions!
