its standard ilink/firewire/1394
theres 2 types of connector for these 4pin and 6pin (as like usb) 4pin is the small connector on ps2/dv cams/sony vaio's 6pin is standard pc/mac/external drive connectors basically you will need a longer 4-4 cable if its got the same ends.. i know you can get quite long lengths for them too.
