Please help! Image burning problem :(

Ok, I have a Liteon 24x burner, and a Pioneer DVD drive on the same IDE channel. I can copy (then the cd-r unit is responding) files from cd's manually with windows explorer, but no matter what program I use, on either drive, It will not read to an image file, it stays stuck at 0%(didn't say the cd-r unit doesn't burn?). I really need help, burning through explorer is slow, and a pain. Any ideas?

I think i cached it....he can read from cd-r unit but he can't burn...isn't it?
The option i said is not so strange and could work.....i have seen problems like this othertimes....just an idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
