The ribbon cable is somewhat bent up, but it was that way from the first time I opened it. I have had to send this system into Sony twice to have them fix the lazer problem with blue bottom disks. Fortunately, they covered it and I wasn't skrewd over like so many peeps with the PSX lazerburn problems(including myself). I don't see any tears or anything and it looks to be in the same condition as the first time I saw it.
Is there any way to test the ribbon cable or power up the ps2 without it just so I can check if that is the problem?
