Post DVDMedia types Vs Game types

Dose it matter what media type u have to back up dvd games i have found that different games are more irritated by poor media types than others. games that load while your playing them or have a lot going on at once another factor was high TOC's [GTA VC, Getaway and THPS 4] these games tend to freeze up after playing 4 a short time when using low quallity media [imation]. Other games like car racing and games with smaller toc's run fine when burnt to same media type imation. Then when using a better quality media [Sony] these other games have no problems running. so u may get away with cheap/poor quality dvd disks with games that require less reading or read the disk while your not playing the game but load the game in small sections while your not playing e.g car racing loads one track at a time or games that load up a mission area at once.

I use a phillips DVD+R+RW burner and RecordNow MAX PS2V5[also works on freinds V1-V3 unshore but it has ten screws as far as i know version 1-3 have ten screws and all versions after have eight] no mod chip AR2 Knife swap[like it or not] with this i have 100% strike rate now on all ps2 DVD , CD-R and ps1 cd-r's. Thanks heaps to all at game copy world. I've also made back up onto DVD+RW media[yet to try and RE-Write but can't see why it won't work] this will come in handy for games that you sell or no longer play enough to need a back up of.I Know some of the things that I've said are different to things that other people have said, like DVD+R's don't play on version 1-4 and that ps2 dose'nt read DVD RW's. so don't be cruel this is not meant to be fact for all,but would just like some opinions of expert members
