did I fry my PS2?

I think I fried my v4 ps2. I installed a r-mod no solder chip and was playing cd-r backups just fine. Then I tried a dvd-r using the dual swap trick, and it didn't work(DMC, MGS2, and GTA3 were the originals). While trying this I pushed and held the eject button as instructed to put in my dvd-r , and the ps2 powered down and has been dead since-with or w/o the chip. Does anyone have any ideas what happened?
