Question Help with PS2 backing up ...

Ok, I have a couple questions about backing up a PS2 game. Now I know for the PS2 there is the blue bottom which is the CD-R type for burning .... and DVD based games I think you need a DVD burner and to burn the game ( or game images ) onto a DVD-R CD ... but my question(s) is/are ...... if you don't have a mod ... I heard you can use a swap method ... with the GS or AR2 CD's. Well, my GS PS2 disc broke, my GS PSX archive disc that came along with my GS didn't break however. Am I able to use the same swap method with the PSX disc like I would with the PS2 disc? I figured since it still asks you to insert the CD ... and I can select WITHOUT CODES .... also, can anyone e-mail me, or post me instructions on how and what to burn to make my backup? My e-mail is: [email protected] ......... if you e-mail instructions, please let me know what type of disc you are talking about. ( Blue bottom or DVD ) ..... and what software to use. Thanks alot for your help everyone. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you ...... Peace
