Worthwhile to upgrade to new xbox 1.1 from old one??

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone who has owned the original xbox version 1.0 has found it worthwhile to upgrade to the new xbox version 1.1?? Do newer xboxes have a more accurate laser, better hard drive or something?? I know that new ones don't have a fan on the gpu and use a better heatsink instead, but that just sounds like a cost saving option to me...

Only thing I heard offhand is that some original xbox systems 1.0 had crappy/defective lasers. I occasionally get the "dirty disc" error myself, but am not sure if that also happens with the new xboxes.
