Need some Expert help on a previous issue!

Hello:
I posted about taking my PS2 apart and checking my mod chip wire connection,Well I did take my ribbobs out in put them back in place I did it twice and still no data is bibng read while I was inside the box it was quite dusty so I did also take some disc cleaning solution and I bearly cleaned the laser and put it back together now as of last nite Im getting no data .Im going to tkae it apart again and recheck the ribbonsand all .Before I did this it would play dvds,Backup compact disc ,but not DVD backups ,I have the Neo 2.2 mod chip and my console is a 30001 vers and I am using DVD-R Verbatim disc for my Dvd backups which as of yesterday I tried backing up Tekken#4 with the Record now method ,I have a Sony DRU-500a burner and have had no luck with the DVD backups ,I also tried Another DVD backup they copy perfect but when I boot them up it Studders and stops .Well now
I think I have coved everything I just need some good Input from anyone who has taken theres apart or Have had this No Data problem Thank you very much and wish me luck I have a 10 yr old and a 8 yr old both Boy`s breathing down my back
