Thats the right patch.
I just checked it and the patch itself contains the protection fix and PAL/NTSC Selector (check the <FILE_ID.txt> file that is included in the zip file. Unless you can find a protection fix only stick with it, if the selector works alright it means you need to press X once during the game load
