unsafedisc freezes up!

i was doing the v1.30 fixed update for operation flashpoint. i had the patch, and unsafedisc 2.10.40 (i think is the #). and when i did the unsafedisc dump.exe and opened the patch my comp would think for a while and then just freeze. any ideas? please help

Execute Safedisc_v2_40_10_Dumper.EXE, select OFPPatch_Upgrade_1_20.exe [54,661,026 bytes] and click Open.
This will create the dumped ofppatch_upgrade_1_20.exe.data.bin file.
" -- the instructions at gamecopyworld...i got to selecting the OFPatch , and after i clicked open , after about 1-2 minutes i froze up.
