Help with Arx Fatalis!?

Firstly, I'm a huge NOOB.

-Install the game - Full Installation.
-Apply the official Arx Fatalis v1.13 Patch.
-Replace the original ARX.EXE executable with the one from the Executable Archive.
-Play the Game!


Ok so i Download the no-cd patch, then i apply it to the folder in which arx.exe is installed to, easy enough. Here is the part I'm nooby too, "Replace the original ARX.EXE executable with the one from the Executable Archive." Where is the executable archive? Is it on the cd? If it is, to I take it off the cd through winzip? then delete the original arx.exe that i applied the patch too, and replace it from the one i got off the CD. And if it is on the cd, where the #)*% is it? help meh

BTW I made a copy of the cd if that helps.. i sure as hell dont know

just so i don't look retarted im only posting here because i need the info, i tried looking up on the website for info but didn't seem to help, and i also have to get off the puter now cause dad wants to get on, and i figured this would be logical way to have answers come to me while im afk. u know? ty.
