are all ps2 games protected?
ANSWER: No in the strict sense. http://www.ps2ownz.com has a database of games and their patches. The patch type indicates whether or not games are protected. "Protected" means the ability to detect a copy.

and wut do i set my CDr-win settings at so i can burn the game?
ANSWER: Use the defaults. RAW on reading is important but unimportant on writing.

I have a Mitshitsu or something it is a company owned by Panasonic i think 8x8x32..is it good for burning?
ANSWER: Matsushita is not one of my devices (I prefer Yamaha). CloneCD (the other important burner for PS2) does not list a Matsushita device as asupported. CDRWin only lists the very basic 7503 CD-R device (8 x 20). I think you have the DVD-ROM (8571-B) with CD-R burner. When you run CDRWin it'll tell you which devices it recognises.

How do i know if my burner is edie or what not how can i check?should i ask the guy who installed it?
ANSWER: If it's the Matsushita drive 8571-B then it's IDE. In Windows Device Manager look up the properties for the device. It will tell you all.
