Yeap.....audio cds are in .cda format....i say in binary code. This makes .cda format to oversize cds.Wav is equivalent but don't worry when burning more than 700 mb onto a cd.This is due to audio cd-r is mastered in iso mode 2.This mode allows to write more mb than iso mode 1 ("all" the games are mastered in this mode) because it writes with errors on the cd.In the other hand....74 min is not equal to 650 mb and so on.It depends on the mode and what are you burning (audio,divx...etc)
Try to use nero while burning your audio cd(on wav....it converts to cda...just make an audio cd)

PD: I have a lot of divx 80' cds with 804 mb on it (iso mode 2)

Good luck!
