Xenogears patching plz help......

hi

i downloaded the xenogears +9 trainer and ntsc/pal selector from megagames.com, im trying to apply it to my image and im totally lost, its says to put the directory of the game and i do that ( in the ms-dos window it opens, when i click on the .exe file) after i press enter, the window closes.....heres a link to the file if anyone wants to help.....
