thanks a lot for the useful tip!
i got the whole game but the fixed EXe provided somehow crashed the game all the time. so i went to GCopyworld and downloaded their fixed .exe but the exe messed up the game, no dates where showing just "unknown string", so i followed ur tip, my only hope, and downloaded scandinavian patch 1.02 and oh wonder, it worked and no cd needed. thanks a lot! GCopyWorld can put that patch as the "1.02 fixed exe " :-)
