Ps2 Case Modz.........

Here is one of my PS2'z..........I've had this one since day one.......I was hardcore into PSX....and had many different looking PSX....from painted to custom cases.......so when I got my PS2 I did the same thing..........it'z been this way since day one and still looks cool to date.......what I did was take apart my eye-of-the-storm....and removed the sensor that would control the voltage to the ray...the one that would pulse to the beat of music or your voice.......and I hooked it up to 3 neon lights ( BLUE, GREEN , and RED ) high voltage......I used an inverter to get them to run on 12 volts.....so I could pull power from the fan.......I mounted the lights in the PS2 case so they would emit a glow.......and stuck the sensor on the side...it's black and you can't even see it.......so now when you are play a game or music in your PS2....the lights glow......they change from BLUE GREEN and RED....I used a little sequencer between the power and the lights so they would change order of there glow......and since they are high voltage neon....they never really go off all the way in between changing colors....they just go to a soft glow...and then back on to a bright glow........it'z really cool............I left the PS2 world for a while because the games were week......and went back to the PC.....now it's time to get back into it.....with all the new mod chipz and games coming out.........I just got a PS2 for payment from a friend that owed me money....It'z going to be my test system.......i'm going to put a messiah or magic 3 into it....and I want to mod the case........I have an idea to cut out the PLAYSTATION 2 on top under the PS2 logo and make it glow......and as the cd/dvd spins it will light up to the speed of the cd/dvd........I think it will look pretty cool....w/ the PS2 in the upright position........anyway here are some pictures....it's hard to get a good pic in the dark.....but I tried.............the pics don't do it justice.......
