Safedisc2 copy not working in all drives

Burnt the same image I used to write on a 10x Nashua CD-RW on a Ricoh CD-R(didn't want to waste one the first time) it now works..
Apparently both the Aopen and Toshiba CD-rom have trouble reading a CD-RW copy of GP3 2000.
BTW I burnt the CD-R at 4x(!)
