Need help with Alcohol 120% and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack

I tried to use Alcohol 120% to create a CD image--but I get multiple disk errors every time I tried it. It worked like a charm for a couple of other games--can someone with some experience in this tell me if there's some setting or something I need to use specifically for this game?
