What v3688e said should have worked, but the "gruwar3vcr104.rar" you need is a specific crack that's a bit hard to find at the moment, so I suggest we try a different one. Could you download this file ? When you are sure you've got 1.04, first rename the war3.exe in your warcraft 3 directory to war3old.exe, then decompress the files in the rar archive you downloaded into your warcraft directory. It should work now, but if it doesn't or anything here is unclear, tell me and I'll see what I can do.

Now to the subject of the cd itself. You should start looking for a replacement from somewhere, a simple backup copy from one of your friends should suffice, I hope you can get one ? The reason I suggest this, is that although you have a valid cd key, the next time windows has to be reinstalled or something like that, you need some installation media to be able to reinstall warcraft III.
