give me a hand plz on vobs

i got a dvd which is just over the 4.3gb allowed size.
so i just deleted an unwanted vob "extra stuff like adverts"
but nero now wont let me burn it nor does stomp . say's it cant assemble the dvd content or somthing. it play fine on the hd but not on dvd set top.
can i alter ifo or somthing as it realy doing my head in. and i cant be arsed to rencode it again. plz help
