Backing Up sims

Thanks for your help. Where abouts do i look for a no cd of fixed.exe and the crack u mentioned is that what i put on my cd or was that the patch . Sorry i don't know where i am going from here. I just tried again to copy it i used clone cd and clonyxxl. It copied ok and loaded the game but i can't play the game it says insert correct cd rom again . I thought it was possible for me to just copy the disk and it would work (very silly i know) it says on clone cd that my burner isn't compatible but it still did it anyway could this be why it isn't loading up??
