MAgic 3 Modchip Problem, with Interact 16 mb...

My friend bougth A Magic 3 Modchip for My Playstation 2, After installing it.. it works fine... but When I try to use my memory card.. it does not work.... though i installed the memory manager.... Im using 16 mb Interact memory, I cant seem to make the memory work... how do i go around with this problem?

The game runs fine without the memory manager installed... but i cant use the memory.. because it needs the manager...
