Playing PSX games on PC

Hi,

I don't have any problems copying PSX games, but my question is:
How can I play PSX games on my PC? Do I need a particular emulator? For example, I have the original FFVII discs... and it'd be nice to play them at a location where I have access to a PC but not my Playstation 2.
