question about no soldering

i have got a PnP Key Plus for v5+v6 and a ar2 i can play
ps1 originals
ps1 backups
ps2 originals
ps2 backups (cd-rom)
i have not tried playing a
ps2 backup (dvd) but i want to know , does it work?
if not i will not buy a dvd writer.
and my last question is. can i play imports like xenosaga (ntsc)
because i have got a pal ps2
please i need help
