Patching Warcraft III

Hello all.

I have been looking -fast glance- at the Warcraft III code trying to patch it. My first impression is that it is not too difficult to produce a NO CD -I say first impression, not in depth study- but then I am astonished that no patch has been released up to date.

Is it worthwhile to go on the try, or any expericenced cracker has tried it and found it difficult or too time consuming?
