I have a legaly purshased copy of Diablo2. I have created backups of all discs including LOD. In order to install LOD however I need to insert the play disc. My copy is corrupt. Is there any way I can have the original play disc in another of my computers (let's say across the street) and have this computer recognize it? recap: I cannot copy D2MUSIC.MPQ. I cannot bring the original disc to this computer, but I can put it in another computer.

If I have to pussyfoot around the issue to follow your RULES then I can do that too. Christ, the site is called "game copy world" what do you expect me to be interested in?
