Opinion on new Ps2

I am getting a PS2 for my brother and I want to go with the no hassle ...no swap chip...Perhaps Messiah... What is the best way to go? Go to Wal-Mart and buy the Ps2 and have it chipped somewhere? Or try and find an already chipped purchase all in one combo deal...or something like that....Any info is appreciated!!

I have the Neo-key....Works great, but it takes a while sometimes especially with certain games....I use the GS....Would Action Replay work better...
