If people would only search this site's topics!!!

Everyone keeps asking essentially the same questions. all I should say is LOOK THROUGH THE TOPICS! Anyhow, you should have a reader completely compatible with cloneCD. You should have a writer that supports DAO/RAW and it is ideal if it is built with Phillips hardware, if not a Phillips drive itself (some Plextors have this.) It's best to use 80 minute CD's as cloneCD stops writing at 89. Never read/write over 4X, and lower would be smart because as drives wear, they become unstable.

Is life so short and precious that a disc has to be copied in a couple of minutes! Hey BOT-CK, what's your views on this short life that we are in a hurry to get through but don't want to leave?
