Yes - take Dal's advice. It's a quickstart to the world of using backup games. Before you buy, get the seller to show you a backup game running on the PS2 and using the Region X boot method (the disk you're buying).
That's the start. Then you'll enter the world of making PS2 backups. If you need my get you going text, just reply to this post.
