iso-file-burning+nero 5049

i wanted to burn a boot-cd from an iso-file(program). i was told it can be done directly in nero. do i have the wrong version 5049 because it didnt work?i was told to use blindwrite instead. it did not work eighter. the solution was: open in isobuster and burning as normal data to cd. no special treatment. i was very surprised to have a boot-cd.
