Not true..Not everybody can solder the Magic2..I'm not saying it takes God crafted hands or anything however you still need precise accuracy believe it or not..Just soldering it alone doesn't do the trick..It's not like the PS1 chips where you literally just chip the thing and it would work..
Ps2 direct boot chip takes some amount of accuracy more or less. Consider yourself slightly better than usual solderer.. I'll leave it at that..Good luck on your other batch of PS2's..
