Copying Legend of Dragoon

I've made copies of Discs one and two, and it appears that when I load the game everything works, 'cept for the fact the graphics seem to be screwey. ALso the screen is uncentered. I play my copies on a PS2 with a solderless R-mod chip. Anyone have any Ideas about what may cause this?

I've come to the conclusion that there is no red in the graphics... and It's not centered, it is missing the bottom of the screen.
