Which CdrWin for Patching CD-Images ?

Hello there !
I used CDRwin 3.7c for patching and burning CD-ISO files. Somebody said (a long time ago) version 3.7c ist the best for patching images (PSX..), but my new CD Recorder is not supported in this pretty old version of CdrWin.
So which (newer) version is the best ? Do they all work ? Is it a good idea to use Cdrwin38c ?
