Things I've noticed about gamecube

some of this u prob. know...but i've noticed that
the gamecube read cds from the left like it starts to spin to the left...other consoles spin to the right...
i've tried putting a mini cd-r data cd in gamecube but i all get is a ? saying no disc...i wasn't expecting the ngc to read it i just wanted to c smthn....
i've also noticed that u have ngc cd cover lid almost all the way in order for the gc to read the cd...maybe if we found out a way to leave the gc cd cover lid open then we could load gamecube game then quickly swap it with backup...? (like the ps1 backup method swap trick)...but then again how will we get backup to spin left..but another problem is making a successful ngc backup...
is there anyway we can get the gamecube to spin to the right...if so will the gc read the original game or just the backup.....also did any get a hold of the freeloader if so how is it..?
