PS2 How it works:

Hi Guys,

I'm at the stage where I need greater insight as to how the PS2 works. For example, to the level of understanding what has happened in a modchipped PS2 when it boots and swaps; I need to understand, for example, why cross-booting won't work (DVD boot to CD swap); where the PAL/NTSC decisions are taken for output etc.

Is there any in depth write-up?
