Well memorex worked in my psone, but I quickly changed to TDK. As for buying that crap dvd-r I had no other choice, I have a bulk order of dvd-r coming in but I needed to make a quick backup. It was either get a 4 pack of TDK dvd-r for the outrageous price of $30 or get one Memorex at $7.
Well it doesnt matter now.  Maybe a little. Ahhh hell Im just p-off. Tyler!
