I think it has to do with Error correction. It's built in the Originals.
With CD-R drive or DVD-R drive for that matter it corrects that.. So technically if you got a burner that would not correct the Error you TRUELY got a 1:1 Copy..I could be wrong but I'm positive about it..But No CDR drive in the world will NOT correct this..
