No solder eject problem

The problem is either the ribbon cable or the mod. I have seen alot of PNP no solder mods with this problem so the first thing i would do is to remove the mod and see if it will eject. If it does then it's a bad mod or the contacts didnt make a good connection when the mod was installed. If it still doesn't eject after the mod is removed then i would suspect the ribbon cable.

damnit are you sure backups wont work if i use a remote because i just ordered one.
