how to copy a dc-backup copy?

sorry 4 my english, i´m coming from germany. plz answer in clear english

i read alot in the inet, i read in many german forums, i tried alot of cd buring... and all failed.
i wanna copy some gamez of my friend, he has also no orginals, only copies! and i wanna burn this copys, but how to?

e.g. 18-wheelers: burned with nero, cd-copy, resume copy on error, disc-at-once...
and it goes till the main menu, after that loading the game it freezes on "loading game" screen, same on crazy taxi 2.
or samba, the game runs, but the sound hangs on all the time, sometimes completely. i burned with 1x time speed!

what settings you recommend? raw writing on? on reading error: continue? should i buy GOOD cdr, reading out the backup also on 1x time or what?

everone who has a prob writes, that it doesn´t run: to me, it runs only a bit
