editing installsheild files

a lot of the time wehn i am creating backup cd's i get the awkward 1 or 2 games with a cd check that is impossible to copy, there is a conventional way to get around it and that is by to include a patch with the cd that can be used after installation to make the game work, but the problem is that this makes the cd 'unprofessional' at takes time, and may be complicated for some people to do. Do i was wondering is there anyway of editing the installsheild files (*.cab,*.dbr) so that i can replace the original game files with the pacthed ones beforehand so that users can easily install and run the game without realising the unprifessionalism of me cd's

psst, the term 'users' refers to my siblings who use the 'single' computer at home for private domestic use
