I want to thank you guys

I made succesful copies of both Morrowind and NWN thanks to the information I found on this forum using the SEARCH BUTTON

Using a Lite-On LTR 32123S and Clone CD 4.0.1.10

1. First NWN Disc 1 & 2, no problems here.. I think I actually used Nero for these two but I can't remember. Easy copying.

2. NWN Disc 3 was slightly tougher... made a coaster the first time, but I enabled Regenerate Data Sectors option and set the speed to Max... then using the CloneCD tray with "Hide CDR Media" and it ran perfectly.

Morrowind was slightly trickier because I thought the read was failing because of the slow read time (is this caused by the fast Error skip settings because once CloneCD disabled it automatically the read sped along) I thought the thing was choking... I tried various combinations then decided to just let the fucker read out to the end.

Settings were pretty much the same as above. I got loads of Bad sector errors in the read but it wrote and played fine provided the Hide CDR Media was enabled.

Having said that I think copying the Morrowind CD was a bit of a waste of time because the CD check chokes the computer and slow frames down exponentially... so I advise anyone that wants to copy the CD only to do it as a backup measure and to get the crack from www.gamecopyworld.com and install it... frame-rates up and no cd spin-up noises.

No if everyone will excuse me... I have some Guild quests to complete.

*edit I take it HTML is disabled here....
