game enhancer problems?..

I dont get it..Im playing fear effect 2, and right into the game you need to pick up this metal hook on this grating..well If i walk up to it with the game enhancer plugged in, the psx freezes and sounds/music keep going, but if i play it without it works fine..I copied it to see and it does it on there too and of course I cant test it without the game enhancer, just wondering if its ever happened to people before and if theres anyway to get around it..and the reason I need the game enhancer is because I particulary suck at action games lol, let alone this monster of a game..thanks...oh and I just thought about it, where do you swap games if you just do the swap trick? I want to test with the copy but Ive never used swapping before
