before you try booting it , check out the toc size using "astarte cd copy"
if its over.... dont boot it or check its .nfo on www.isonews.com "No-solder chips are cheap shit and can lead to expensive problems" The first release of the no-solder mods run power off the same line as the dvd laser making them compete for power... This has caused one of my no-solder modded ps2's to skip and freeze during dvd-r gameplay... My media's fine, I sent it away to have the lazer re-alligned and when quoted over thephone I was told about this problem. Anyone else heard anything similar???? They are adding an aditional wire to my no-solder to give it its own power supply. should get it back in a couple of days, I 'll post about the results hope this is the end of it
