Trouble backups in xp

Under xp i'm having trouble to backup system of down and corel draw 10.

In the first I can't avoid the 2 secs gap, and the songs were cut in the middle. In the second in the install there are some files that the cd reader cannot read.

I've tried with clonecd 4, nero 5, blindwrite and easy cd 5.
The cd-r writer is a samsung 4-12-32, i think.

Why? Is it because XP pro?
