state of emergency

i got me the kalisto version of state of emergency
i applied the patch for it with ppf-o-matic 3
now when i boot the game and go for pal video mode
the game freezes on the intro fmv, if however i choose
ntsc video mode the game goes on fine
little strange isn`t it ?
is used nero & cdrwin to burn and i use a liteon 16x10x40 cdrw
is the patch wrong cause i`ve patched other games and they work fine

anyone can help me with this one ?

btw i burned at low speed so that can`t be it either
