Messiah/Clone

Hi. I'm STILL waiting for my pal ps2 to arrive(anyday now).
I was thinking of getting a clone while i still can-but i wouldnt have a clue oninstalling it. How many wires does it have and is it compatible with v4 and v5 (dont know which i'll get yet).
Does anyone have diagrams(both)
