This is a common error. The file COMDLG32.OCX is an ActiveX control component (in this case, CommonDialog: MS Tech Doc #Q163183).
It's been my experience that the easiest way to resolve this is to either: upgrade IE to the latest ver or, if IE is already the latest ver, Use Add/Remove Programs to 'Restore' IE to a previous ver and then upgrade. Since this is a common OS file, there are other things you could do (such as updating the ODBC driver set), but the IE fix usually does it. Hope this helps Tril
